While I obviously proudly display the MetaxuCafe logo/link, and have a separate link to the home page as well in my typelist, I’d like to somehow link to the individual members (although I should have thought of this before the network exploded!) and tried making a list to one link on my website that would expand into the listing of members with linkable sites (alphabetically, of course!).  Any easy ways of doing this?  I can also list each on the front page, but my rolls are getting quite long already...though they do need updating right now.  Any thoughts or suggestions?

Hi Susan,

I can make the OPML file available, which is just a file with all the member’s sites and URLs. I can try to find an easy way for you to put that on your site. The easiest way might be to use bloglines, which (probably) allows you to import links via OPML. (OPML, by the way, is just a standardized way to put lists into a file that can be shared).

Alternatively, I can maybe come up with a piece of code that would put the list of sites in a little dropdown box, which can then be put on your site.

Of course, the only caveat is that it’s a large list. There are a 170 members, plus I have a few sites on there temporarily that are not yet (or may never be) members. The list grows a bit every week too.

Let me know what you think and I’ll work on something.

I’m not familiar with OPML, but then again, I learn as I go along.  Whatever’s easiest for you, Bud.  I just want a quick link myself to use to visit the community members and make them available as well to my own readers.  Let me know…

Maybe just a link to the members page or headline page would suffice? At least then, it will always be up-to-date. I may soon have the members page show headlines (no excerpt) from all the members instead of the list, so that might be a good page to link to?
