The narrative transcends time, place, and propriety to demonstrate the many levels on which Dark Mother Kali struggles against the Gods of Monotheism and patriarchy, struggling for control of the values of the future, and, ultimately jettisons eight centuries ahead to find that oppression has again overwhelmed freedom in the society founded by the descendents of KALI.
